After losing the Champions League final to PSG, Arsenal will be planning to further bolster their side in the summer and one of the names they have been linked with is Morgan Rogers.
Mikel Arteta personally wants to sign Rogers, who continues to display why he is one of the Premier League’s best attacking midfielders.
The England international is contracted to Aston Villa until 2031 and ideally, Unai Emery would not want to part ways with one of his most important players.

Despite Manchester City letting Rogers leave in 2023, TEAMtalk journalist Graeme Bailey have revealed that the English giants are seriously considering the prospect of re-signing him, with sporting director Hugo Viana being a big fan.
Morgan Rogers not against Man City return amid Arsenal interest
Gabriel Magalhaes’ missed penalty against Paris Saint-Germain stopped Arsenal from winning the double but they have become the team to beat in England; something Manchester City’s Viana aims to stop as he wishes to build a Premier League-winning side and Rogers is one of the names on his radar.
The Sky Blues intend to rejig their attack and the report has mentioned that City are in active discussions to sign the Europa League winner.
Rogers rates Arsenal as a team highly but he would have ‘no reservations’ about becoming a Manchester City player again and remains open-minded about his future if the right move presents itself.
It could take over £100 million to sign the 23-year-old, with Aston Villa targeting a club-record sale.
Noni Madueke dropped hint about Morgan Rogers to Arsenal move
PSG and Bayern Munich have also held discussions to land the Halesowen-born star.
Chelsea’s recruitment chief, Joe Shields is keen on the move as he knows the player very well from working as Manchester City’s academy director.
However, Noni Madueke hinted Rogers could join Arsenal after liking a post that mentioned that Mikel Arteta is building an outstanding team, which could prove to be bad news for Manchester City.
