Arsenal move’s for Bradley Barcola has received fresh encouragement after the winger decided against signing a new Paris Saint-Germain contract.
However, Fabrizio Romano reports that Liverpool currently have the France international at the top of their transfer list.
Barcola remains under contract in Paris until June 2028, but he is now open to exploring a transfer during the summer window.
“Bradley Barcola will not sign a new deal at Paris Saint-Germain,” Romano confirmed on X. “As always reported, he’s open to exploring a move this summer.”

PSG had wanted to extend Barcola’s contract rather than consider offers for the 23-year-old. His decision now leaves the French champions facing a choice over whether to retain him or negotiate a sale.
Read Arsenal previously reported that PSG were determined to keep Barcola and would demand a significant fee before changing their position. Arsenal had discussed the winger internally, although no active negotiations had taken place.
Romano also reported last week that contact between Arsenal, PSG and Barcola’s representatives remained “cold”. Liverpool were already showing stronger interest and now appear best placed to move first.
Mikel Arteta still wants another leading attacker after Chelsea completed the signing of Morgan Rogers. Barcola’s speed, direct running and ability to operate from the left would provide a different option alongside Gabriel Martinelli and Christos Tzolis.
