  • Arsenal will get a lot of money for their Premier League win
  • Rivals Spurs are set to receive a lot less
  • Champions League payout means the Gunners have a lot more money to play with

Arsenal have finally won their first major trophy after six years of waiting, and one of the benefits of such a successful season will be the financial situation at the club.

The Gunners lifted the Premier League title on the last day of the season at Selhurst Park after their 2-1 win over Crystal Palace, and will play again later this week in the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.

If the North London club can win both trophies, this will mean that they have a lot of money to spend in the summer, regardless of any outgoings, which they are still expected to make regardless.

Arsenal set to receive just under £200 million for Premier League title win

Football.london have revealed the exact amount that Arsenal will receive for their first-placed finish in the league, and it is a significant sum.

The specific amount is set to be £198.7 million, which is over £6 million more than league runners-up Manchester City. While it does not seem like a huge reward for finishing first over second, there are also other revenue streams that mean Arsenal are in a very healthy position right now.

Bottom of the league Wolves will still receive £117 million despite their relegation to the Championship, showing just how much money is in the top flight of English football.

One thing sure to make Arsenal fans happy is that arch-rivals Tottenham will receive over £60 million less than their team after finishing 17th in the league and almost being relegated.

This money will be reinvested in the club but could also be used on high-profile transfers, with perhaps the biggest name linked to Arsenal at the moment being Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez.

Arsenal will also receive a significant amount for reaching the Champions League final

Arsenal have picked up £125 million already after their Champions League journey success so far, and an additional £15.97 million will come their way if they can get the better of Paris Saint-Germain this weekend in Budapest.

The combined spoils for both Arsenal’s Premier League win and Champions League success are well over £300 million when the two amounts are combined, and it is well deserved for Mikel Arteta and everyone at the club.
