Arsenal are looking to strengthen their attacking unit in the summer, and one of the names on that list of potential transfers is Morgan Rogers of Aston Villa.
It appears as if Mikel Arteta is keen on signing Rogers, given that the attacker has impressed in the 2025/26 Premier League campaign and has attracted the interest of the European elite.
The Gunners can opt for a variety of options come summertime in terms of attackers they want to sign, with the North London club in a strong position financially thanks to their Premier League win.
One potentially important factor to focus on seems to strengthen the rumours that Rogers may be Arsenal’s man soon enough, instead of other star names such as Bradley Barcola or Anthony Gordon.

Noni Madueke likes Instagram post speculating a Morgan Rogers move to Arsenal
While it is always naive to read too much into a player liking a simple post on Instagram referencing whatever, in the modern age of PR training and superstars’ every move being watched, even a thing such as an Instagram like can mean more than meets the eye.
Noni Madueke has sparked flames by liking a post from Instagram account Rising Ballers which displays a graphic with Morgan Rogers included, and both the Aston Villa and Arsenal badge featured, with a tweet stating ‘Arsenal are building a super team’.
While there are no concrete talks between Arsenal and the Birmingham club over Rogers, even something as simple as an Arsenal player liking a post on social media at least suggests that people within the club are aware of the growing hype surrounding the link.
Arsenal fans seem hyped about Morgan Rogers potentially joining the club
One fan responded to the @DailyAFC post by saying that “If we [Arsenal] sign Rogers it’s over for the rest of the league for the next five years,” showing clear excitement over the rumours surrounding the England international.
Another speculated over just how important Madueke’s Instagram like is, by saying “anytime [an] Arsenal player likes a tweet linking a player to the club, their [sic] is 70 percent of [a] chance that Arsenal will sign that player. Let’s see how this one plays out.”
The specific fee Aston Villa will be wanting for Rogers is unknown, but the 23-year-old’s value is £69 million according to Transfermarkt.
